Prehistoric sites of major importance can be discovered nearby, including the famous site of Filitosa as well as those of Cucuruzzu<\/strong> Or Cowria<\/strong>. Located 18 km from Propriano, the prehistoric site of Filitosa<\/strong> is considered the most important megalithic site in Corsica. The immobile warriors, called \u201cFilitosa\u201d, granite giants 3m high, watch over the place, witnesses to more than 8000 years of history.
